About NDT Inspector

What does a NDT Inspector do?

As NDT Inspectors, our primary tasks include overseeing material tests using various non-destructive technologies and methods. The methods we normally apply include thermal imaging, dye testing, resonant testing, and magnetic particle testing. Our main duty is to identify material flaws such as as corrosion, gaps, or incomplete welds that can affect performance and safety. We examine vehicles, structures, and products for structural weaknesses and product flaws. We conduct material tests, generate reports on our findings and interpret the results. We travel to clients’ locations, set up and calibrate NTD equipment, and conduct tests for materials and structures using non-destructive technologies.
