About Network Architect

What does a Network Architect do?

As Network Architects, we are expert in designing computer networks for the organization. We have to full control over computer networks like LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), intranet, internet, and so forth. We have to evaluate any computer networks for the company and test before launching them. Developing technical network solutions as well as possible framework, we should analyze business needs. Other responsibilities include installing hardware such as hubs, cables, router, and wireless adaptors. Developing test plans, project timelines for various projects should also be our core responsibilities.

Core tasks:

  • designing computer networks like LANs, WANs, internet
  • evaluating design test, inspecting data communication method
  • carrying out networking troubleshooting to find out and diagnose any error in the network and solve them accordingly
  • examining the organization's requirements to come up with technical network solutions
