About Network Support Engineer

What does a Network Support Engineer do?

As Network Support Engineers, we perform various disaster recovery operations and data backups when required in order to protect the company’s software, data, and hardware by planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures. We also coordinate with the company’s IT department during the deployment and maintenance of new network technologies while enhancing the intranet performance and creating internet domains. We ensure the protection of the company’s data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. We also configure, install, and updating the network software and optimize the server capacity to keep up with the demand in online traffic.

Core tasks:

  • operate master consoles to monitor the networks’ performance
  • train and supervise the company’s junior IT personnel
  • document every network processes and layouts as required
