New Jersey State Police (N.J.S.P.), formed in 1921 and headquartered in Ewing Township, New Jersey, United States, is the official state police of New Jersey of the United States. The police are responsible for general civilian services, highway and traffic enforcement, investigation and intelligence services, emergency, maintaining criminal records, and more. N.J.S.P. also has the responsibility of protecting the Governor and Lieutenant of New Jersey, President of New Jersey State, and the speaker person of New Jersey Assembly. 'Honor, Duty, Fidelity' is the slogan of New Jersey State Police. It has a triangular logo and badge, having stars in its corners that represent its slogan. The N.J.S.P. is provided with Glock 19 Gen 4 and a Benelli M 1 shotgun as their service weapons.
