The NYC Health or New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s center for the health equity department of the government of New York City responsible for public health. The NYC Health is the public health agencies in the world and also one of the nation's oldest public health agencies with more than 6,000 employees to protect and promote the health of 8 million New Yorkers. The NYC health department is a source of wealth of information about the healthy population. At the center of health equity, they are mainly focused on four approaches to build up balanced health and mental hygiene of New Yorkers to advance health equity. Their mission is to protect, improve, promote the health and productivity of people who live in New York City. The Company was founded on April 5, 1870, and Dr. Dave A Chokshi is the commissioner of the department. Apart from public health and hygiene, they also manage to issue birth certificates, dog license and conduct inspections in restaurants and companies.
