I spent 10 years at NYP and 5 years with the college (Weill Cornell). My time at NYP in the department that I was in I learned a lot in facility billing. It was educational and fun. Life work balance was ok, but we are talking 10 years ago. With the whole pandemic, not sure how it is now. But I would recommend the organization. the college side, my time there was not so enjoyable in the department that I was in. I would recommend NYP as a whole, it is a great organization. For the most part they value the hard work of their employees.

Pros and Cons
Team members willing to help
Some of the management made life difficult

I worked in Corporate Nursing Department, where all the nursing policies and procedures are reviewed monthly for updates or deletions. The Nursing Committee will approve them before editing and formatting as the final step. The Hospital Nursing website will have the current version posted, and the archived are on the department's backup system.

Pros and Cons
Appreciate the employees for their hard work by having events annually in July and giving us a gift
We work hard to get the job done. We put patient first.
