Great training program. Always recruiting.

Pros and Cons
Top company in the field. Extremely strong financially owned by clients.
Primarily Commision based salary. Top end is out of the world. Need to grind for 2 years.

They make you go through a lot of education, and licensing, and jump through a million hoops all the time. Not just in the beginning during training, but it's an expectation to keep this up and you're busily trying to keep up with their education and licensing requirements that you can't actually do your work. Your boss might be someone with an unrelated background or someone that has entered into the industry of selling insurance right out of college. They don't actually know what they're doing, they're just glorified salespeople. During the annual meeting, you sit through A TON of awards and it's the same 10 people that go up there and it's like a Mormon rally with everyone in blue suits and blond women on their arms with 8 kids following behind. It's super creepy. DO NOT DRINK THE PUNCH!

Pros and Cons
Free lunch sometime and you learn about investing
You won't make a lot unless you're an insurance broker who has been in the industry for 35 years.

Definitely the worst job I've ever had. Management is so incompetent. There is no structure and communication between departments and workers. Working here is such chaos and management consists of the worst kind of people.

Pros and Cons
there are none
Management, company culture, work life balance

Unless you have a relative or tie to this company (a financial advisor at this company), I'd avoid working here if I were you. There are plenty of other places that are supportive, flexible, and pay fairly. I started here in an entry level position; it was very legitimately the worst job I have ever had. I was ripped out of promised bonuses and pay increase after a promotion. The reps are treated like gold, though, if you are able to become a rep. Otherwise, you are taking care of grunt work and treated like less than. They do put on quite a good show & front about having a nice company culture, though, I never saw this come into fruition.

Pros and Cons
Christmas gift, pay for classes/courses related to job
LOW Salary, RIGID schedule, inflexible, little room for growth, & very siloed .

I was an intern working here for a summer. The culture was phenomenal and high energy however, there was no pay other than $100 a week for showing up to training. Outside of that, it was 100% commission based of which you had to build your own book of clients via your personal connections. It was a fun experience working here but if you're looking for a job that's salaried and has benefits this is not the place!
