As nurses, we provide primary care to patients within the community and our healthcare facility. We are responsible for holistic patient care including, their developmental, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs. We offer care to patients as prescribed by the physician. As nurses, it is our duty to administer immunization to patient both at home, schools, and the clinic. We draft and organize educational assemblies to enlighten the general public on daily health and safty measures to avert illness. We work closely with other medical team to conduct screening and distribute medical related items like mosquito nets, condoms, first aid kits, pregnacy tests kits and much more. Assisting the doctor with diagnostic tests is one of our day to day tasks. We strive daily to see our patients bounce back to health.
