As nutrition educators, we determine, implement and promote nutritional education programs and services to patients, families, hospital staff and the society at large. We undertake research, develop and maintain nutrition education techniques and guidelines. We nutrition educators also educate at-risk patients on nutritional treatment by assessing their nutritional needs. We are responsible for tracking quality assurance and assessing cost effectiveness of nutrition education programs and services. We undertake staff trainings on healthy diets based on current nutrition research data. We help develop new nutrition programs in the hospitals. We similarly plan and coordinate patient nutrition care based on their healthy conditions.
