But that’s starting as a cashier, to Department Head. It’s pretty much guaranteed you won’t go any further than that unless someone else in upper management leaves. They expect a lot. Cashiering when it’s busy, so your department becomes messy temporarily. Then they will complain about that, but still call you up front to collect carts instead of allowing you to be on the floor. I worked there for one year and I was completely miserable by the end. They also never sent my paperwork through to guarantee my hours with my promotion, so after the holidays, I got cut from 50 hour weeks to 20/25 with no notice. I was 21 and it was the second place I worked at, so I was a bit naive. I suppose the paperwork issue is partially on me. But it just seemed like they wanted to overwork you, never give you a raise or benefits, and then make you quit by using an arbitrary point system. They’ll deny you a raise by being under by just one point. Be on your toes about this place.

Worked here for about 2yrs. Job was great, staff was awesome too. Under new management now but miss the people. Good job

You are overworked, underappreciated, verbally abused. It is the worst job I ever had. The owners are greedy and abusive.
