The managers and supervisors are disrespectful. They get together in cliches and discuss personal employee businesses with other employees. Favoritism is openly seen. When you are in need of any help or assistance with a job related problem you are scolded for asking. This is why the turnover rate is so high.

Pros and Cons
The patients
Parking options and disrespectful supervision

I started at Ochsner in the physical therapy department. I worked at front desk and moved to medical transcriptionist when therpist notes moved from hand written to electronic. Once a transcriptionist was hired i became lead coordinator supervising 5 coordinators. It was an awesome job. I mention this to show how there is definitely room for growth.

Pros and Cons
Very friendly, helpful and room for growth.
We had to park off site and walk to hospital.
