Have what it takes? Join us.PRIMARY FUNCTION/J.O.B. SUMMARYThe OEM Territory Sales Manager will serve as the primary point of contact and leader for assigned Attwood customer accounts. The OEM Territory Sales Manager’s primarily responsibility is to lead the sales growth and development of key OEM and Industrial business relationships.MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESManage the customer relationships for assigned Attwood accounts.Achieve annual sales targets for accounts and work to ensure that total Attwood sales objectives are met.Travel to accounts, estimated 25-30% travel. Travel may be heavier during portions of the year.Present new products, maintain pricing levels, manage customer requests, capture V.O.C., update and maintain C.R.M. (Salesforce.com) requirements.Negotiate terms of sales in accordance with corporate guidelines.Work with Marketing to develop effective annual sales and training materials.Make recommendations for new sales programs.Work and manage marine shows. Participate in set-up, tear-down, and booth "manning" during shows. Develop effective sales promotions that drive sales at the shows.Perform duties as directed by the Channel Sales Manager including preparation of quotes, order follow-up and communications.Develop sales programs to move obsolete and slow-moving inventories through the OEM sales channel as needed.Assist in sales meeting preparation and participate in these meetings where applicable.Provide monthly and annual sales forecasts for assigned channel partners.Work with customer service to facilitate channel partner requests.Assist OEM sales manager on assigned projects as needed.Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.The above duties may be supplemented occasionally with other job duties and/or assignments related to career or personal development.Education Requirements (special training, college degree, etc.)Bachelor's degree in business or technical field or equivalent experienceExperience3 years sales experienceSales leadership and/or account management experience preferredSkill Requirements (Technical, Communication, Interpersonal, etc.)Demonstrated ability to handle detail and follow through on work projects.Demonstrated ability to understand mechanical application of marine products.Knowledge of the marine industry and or boating is preferred.
