Job Description

Our client is a bustling Financial Investment Firm located in the Boston area who is seeking an accomplished Office Manager. Our client is looking for an energetic, friendly professional who loves wearing different hats, enjoys administration, coordinating events and projects and wants to grow with the company. Salary/ Hourly Rate: $19 – $26 per hour | $45-$55K Position Overview: The Office Manager will be required to have a demonstrated background in administrative support, project coordination and managing staff. The Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining an organized and professional office space, including upkeep of supplies. The Office Manager must be friendly, articulate and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Our Client is looking for someone with a flexible, can-do attitude with experience working both independently and reporting directly to senior staff. Responsibilities of the Office Manager: Managing the scheduling and travel arrangements for one or multiple staff members Meeting and greeting guests and clients as they enter and providing excellent hospitality Maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies Timely managing all office correspondence including email, phone calls and mail Serving as the main point of contact for all internal office questions and needs Handling general administration and office coordination Event planning and logistics for large meetings and office parties Conducting interdepartmental coordination and project support Developing office policies and procedures as well as streamlining existing systems Completing ad hoc projects as needed Qualifications for the Office Manager: A strong attention to detail Significant time management and organizational skills Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 3 years minimum experience in administrative roles or similar office experience Positive attitude and outgoing personality Ability to work on a team as well as reach goals independently Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Education Requirements: Bachelor’s preferred.   • Personnel and Human ResourcesKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
