Job Description

Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities (essential functions as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act)

Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills. Demonstrates ability to provide care/service safely and efficiently for the care of each patient.

Manages all aspects of the CC Exam Area in the most efficient and timely manner possible. Coordinates the clinic matrix and provider template process to ensure efficient space utilization. Recruits, supervises, coordinates and schedules the work activities for \scheduling representatives and Medical Team Assistants approx.. 30 FTEs.. Provides backup staff when needed. Establishes effective and efficient workflow patterns and procedures and implements operational improvements to maximize patient care. Monitors the operation of computer and computer-related equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions. Responds to patient complaints in a professional and positive manner. Maintains patient confidentiality. Maintains hospital billing information flow to eliminate late charges. Promotes good intra-divisional working relationships. Assures safety of the environment in the exam areas.

II. Non-Essential ResponsibilitiesAssists residents, medical students and nursing students ( and others person who shadow in clinics) with policies, procedures and processes.

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred skills and experience:[ ] 3 years experience in a supervisory role.[ ] 3 years experience in working with EMR.[ ] 3-5 years experience in a research/teaching healthcare facility in a major medical facility.[ ] Medical terminology familiarity and a basic knowledge of anatomy are preferred.
