About OIM Consultant

What does an OIM Consultant do?

As OIM Consultants, we develop and implement policies to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end-users. We define systems requirements based on user needs. We define technical standards and functionality tests. We develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides. We use the Oracle IDM Suite software. We design, install and configure Identity and Access Management solutions for a business. We collaborate with clients to determine and document their requirements. We design scalable solutions to meet those requirements. We provide consulting and technical support throughout each project. We provide customization to components and processes as requested. We integrate all software components with the customer’s applications and systems.

Core tasks:

  • provide leadership to junior employees
  • design and architect overall IAM solution using Oracle’s stack
  • hands-on implementation of workflows and data integration
  • install and provides insight to end-to-end Oracle Identity Management
  • document detailed technical requirement
