About On Air Talent

What does an On Air Talent do?

In the role of On-Air Talents, we take part in digital content creation including social media and wordpress. We provide entertaining, creative, and engaging on-air content while executing the station format. We ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly. We perform music and commercial log checks during shifts. We write, voice and do commercial production. We make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts. We oversee commercial production, event and concert promotion. We assist supervisor with coordination of traffic department and sales staff. We expedite radio commercials and rotation of commercials according to the specifications requested by sales department and clients.

Core tasks:

  • prepare the system for proper placement of commercials
  • call clients and plays commercials for approval
  • file and organize copy
  • perform duties in small stations, such as fill-in for on-air personality
  • ensure maintenance of the appropriate continuity at all times while on the air
  • do Programming links
  • re-enforce the radio station program and identity at all times
