Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) is an automation development corporation that is ISO 9001 accredited and has its headquarters in Medina, Minnesota. Canada, Colombia, Spain, India, Dubai, Australia, Singapore and China have foreign offices. It was founded by Bahman Hoveida and Ron Ingram in May 1992. The company's systems are used to control and maximize output, distribution and service networks in real-time for utilities in the power, oil & gas, transport and water industries. OSI is one of the few firms in the operational technology (OT) industry located in the United States. OSI made Inc. 5000 the list of fastest growing firms in America in 2015 and 2016 after witnessing 73 percent growth, with a combined revenue of $62.9 million. Today, OSI offers global frameworks for transparent automation, network security, and optimization.
