About Operating Room Manager

What does an Operating Room Manager do?

In the role of Operating Room Manager, our primary responsibility is to manage the multiple operations in the operating rooms. We work collaboratively to coordinate the functional and operational activities of surgeons. We oversee the daily operations and inspect the equipment of operating rooms to identify the areas of improvement in them. Working as Operating Room Managers, we are liable for recruiting and hiring the operating room technicians and guiding them about the areas that need to be repaired in the operating equipment. We partner with the operating room directors to supervise and train the newly hired employees and provide them with proper operating room guidelines to ensure they are performing the work in accordance with them.

Core tasks:

  • working collaboratively with our team members
  • managing our operating workers
  • preparing new operating strategies for improving the quality of operating equipment
  • identifying areas of improvement in the operational equipment
