We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for our North Carolina Facility. This position is responsible for managing and leading all functions as assigned by the VP, Manufacturing& Corporate Development, assisting in developing sound comprehensive organizational plans, with budgetary responsibility, including culture and controls to obtain desired results for the location. Additionally, this position exists to provide solid leadership to assure effective management of the facility that is consistent with established corporate image, ethics, operating, sales, and financial objectives.
Role and Responsibilities: This role is responsible for directing overall operations to support the strategic plan and financial objectives, establishing corporate tactical objectives, developing and ensuring performance of budgets, monitoring local operation’s performance relative to gross margin, safety, quality, customer satisfaction. A day in the life of this position will include providing leadership, advice, guidance, authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, participating in general administration and technical programs such as communications, staffing, job evaluation, employee training, and employee relations, and maintaining surveillance over manufacturing operations and IT at the Charlotte location.
Position Requirements: Qualified candidates will be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer. They must have knowledge of operations management, including Quality Systems, Materials Management, Logistics, Manufacturing and Process Engineering, and Plant Supervision. They will have strong leadership, interpersonal and team-building skills, intellectual curiosity, a proven track record of managing a positive culture, and experience managing a specific business unity with positive growth.A minimum of 10-20 years of progressive management experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management or Technical field is required.Graduate study is desired.
