About Organist

What does an Organist do?

As Organists, we select the right organ music and provide it at multiple worship services, special celebrations of worship, and mid-week worship occasions where the organ is the primary instrument used. We perform regular cleaning, repair, and maintenance of the musical equipment to ensure that it works properly at all times in accordance with the established standards of operations. We accompany instrumentalists and vocalists as directed by the Director of Choral and Instrumental Music to ensure a smooth and great musical presentation.

Core tasks:

  • select the appropriate hymn based on the preaching pastor speech
  • provide unique organ music for weddings and funerals
