What does an Outreach Coordinator do?

As Outreach Coordinators, we oversee the planning and implementation of outreach strategies. We are responsible for connecting people in the broader community by creating sponsorship agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses and other relevant organizations. We handle public relations such as developing strategic relationships and attending trade shows.

Core tasks:

  • developing press releases and other marketing materials
  • organizing outreach events including marketing, sales, and planning to promote the services of the organization
  • collecting and analyzing information on local demographics, developing results, and presenting the conclusions to the relevant departments
