The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a free and open community dedicated to making applications more secure. The goal is to make application security 'visible' so that people and organizations can make educated decisions about security risks. The OWASP Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that guarantees our work's continued availability and support. It is the source for developers and technologists to protect the web through community-led open-source software initiatives, hundreds of local chapters worldwide, tens of thousands of members, and leading educational and training conferences. It was established nearly two decades ago, complements and supports our over 45,000 community members in making the web safer.
