PDS is not a culture I would recommend except for those who need experience. Otherwise there is zero work life balance, pay is horrible, Regional Management and above could care less about you unless you work for Doctors who produce money.

Pros and Cons
Benefits were good
Be prepared to give your all for nothing in return

I had a great experience with Pacific Dental Services. The core beliefs and values are outstanding. Plenty of opportunities for career growth. The only draw back, is poor work life balance. The hours required don’t allow for family time.

Favoritism at its best. Don’t offer your ideas to improve workflow for the team unless you’re ready to have the supervisor take your idea as his/her own. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA HR is a joke and doesn’t take anything serious. Overworked and underpaid.

Pros and Cons
Not everyone is unprofessional
Management is unprofessional

Worked for Pacific Dental for just under 10 years in several offices. You do learn alot but unfortunately its at a high cost. You have no life outside of work. Long hours, hard to get breaks and expect you to work from home for free to do ordering and assignments they give you for meetings.

Pros and Cons
Good health benefits, vacation time, competitive pay, gives back to community
Hard to get breaks, gives you homework for meetings, say they are family-friendly but not the case,

Doctors speak to you in a condescending way and are rude and unprofessional. Do not lead by example. Stay on their cell phones and shop on the internet in plain sight of office staff and patients

Pros and Cons
Lunch hour
Computer system old and outdated
