I started to work for Papa John's in late January. My first day at work my General Manager that hired me was to be there to start my training on my first day, but the General Manager wasn't there to train me. The one shift leads which at Papa John's is a manager and the Assitant General Manager was there my first day. My husband worked there before me as delivery driver. We had the same schedule. He took me over to introduce me to the Assistant Manager and the Shirt Lead. They looked and said"The General Manager was off and didn't know what to do with me." So another employee spoke up and said"I'll help train her!" She trained me on the pizza make line my first day! I worked for two days on the make line. The second day my General Manager was working. He didn't come talk to me introduce me to his staff, nothing. But ask his Assistant Manager how I was doing on the make line!! She said"I didn't know what to do with her, so another pizza line maker said she would train me!" Not her job!

Pros and Cons
There is not any pros at Papa John's
No proper training, All managers didn't do there job. If they didn't like you u knew it??

No respect. Drugs got you places. Good place for a part time but sucks if its your only income. If they are short staffed they make you work extra hours instead of asking you. if you tell hem no they work to get rid of you.

Pros and Cons
Half off price ( need to get it in store)
Everything.

I loved working there, I would've gladly worked there much longer, however I was paid less money than it cost to go into work there due to lack of hours. There were a lot of new people hired, so my hours were reduced, overall wish I could work at another place like their Imperial location.

Pros and Cons
Free bread products, kind management, kind coworkers, and college benefits
No seating, lack of hours, and most drivers aren't trained to work on menu items
