About Paralegal

What does a Paralegal do?

As Paralegals, we prepare affidavits and legal correspondence for lawyers and attorneys. We organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system. Communicating with clients, attorneys, lawyers, and other professionals is part of our daily responsibilities. We support lawyers in their work and help them prepare court cases including opening and closing arguments. Working as Paralegals, we file pleadings with clerks and prepare contracts and real estate closing statements. We direct and coordinate law office activities and investigate facts and cases.

  • call witnesses to testify on hearings
  • keep law library up-to-date
  • monitor legal case studies
