• Collaborates with the ED Charge
  Nurse, ED staff, ED providers to ensures appropriate delivery of patient
  care for a group of patients according to policy and procedure and the
  standards of
  care
• Ensures appropriate delivery of
  patient care for a group of patients according to policy and procedure
• Evaluates outcomes of patient
  care, consults with other disciplines as required and documents the plan
  of care as necessary to ensure optimal service and care to hospitals
  policies and procedures
• Provides appropriate, direct
  patient care in assigned area(s).
• Documents observations,
  interventions and pertinent patient data and maintains other required
  documentation.
• Demonstrates professional
  practice/conduct at all times

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Paramedic training program.

• Current Health Provider
  BLS from American Heart Associations adult and pediatric cardiopulmonary
  resuscitation required.
• Hospital
  secretary experience is preferred Completion of an accredited Paramedic
  training program.
• Paramedic by the Texas Department of Health.
• Current Basic BLS, ACLS, PALS from an AHA provider.
• 1 year required hospital and/or field training.
