Parker Hannifin Corporation Company Reviews and Ratings
Plant Accounting Manager
Holly Springs, MS - July 4, 2024
Management promoted a very healthy, interactive work environment where all employees were encouraged to participate in making for a "better place to work" for everyone.
Pros and Cons
Better than local average wages, attractive retirement match program, and advancement opportunity.
None that I recall.

They provided zero possibilities for advancement, zero engagement from management. They intentionally tried to trigger PTSD. They hacked my network and quoted events that took place in my life. They increased my work load multiple times without any indication of pay raise.
Pros and Cons
Free coffe
Zero career advancement opportunities, exponential work requirements, zero

Boss had no idea what they were doing, boss was sexist, and made many inappropriate comments including racial.

9/10 managers don’t really care about their employees. Employees are not getting recognized on every good thing they do. A lot of favoritism going on in this company. Those people that are working hard are not getting the promotion they deserve but people that are friends with lead or managers are the ones that getting promoted.
Pros and Cons
No pros at all
Bad management. I’ll say worst!

Parker recently bought our company, and it drastically changed our team working environment to be about making more dollars for shareholders. Replaced equipment with cheapest available, added to individuals workloads, always pushing for more work. It got to where 10 hour days were the norm. Got to be too much hearing about how we had to make our shareholders proud, little to no care for employees. Breaking point was incorrect payment of overtime wages, and always fighting to get paid correctly. Got tired fighting with management not to work every Saturday.
Pros and Cons
Decent wages
Reduced our healthcare benefits and raised employee payments for healthcare

Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Parker, CO - October 25, 2022
I have 20 years with Parker HSD, representing them on the west coast at their sub-suppliers. Resolving issues that their suppliers are unable to do. Interfacing with parker customers at the suppliers and assuring that the contract type design activity is completed and ongoing for future contracts. Unfortunately, Parker HSD, has inexperienced mi lineal people in management that have no regard for older highly experienced professionals that they think are overpaid and do not have enough computer experience, so they lay them off when the opportunity arises, such as COVID-19. The only thing that the mi lineal people in the Parker HSD, management understand is the computer.
Pros and Cons
Not much, in their view your salary is the only recognition you receive.
They have new mi lineal personnel in management with little experience and no regard for others.

R&D Lab. Tech.
Modesto, CA - August 7, 2022
A great employer with unlimited possibilities for employment growth and job advancement. And a fantastic benefits package. I started with the company in 1997 as an assembler, and through hard work and dedication was promoted throughout the course of my employment with Parker to the height of R&D Lab Tech., until my husband was transferred to another state. And unfortunately, my employment with Parker came to an end. Would definitely seek employment with Parker again, if I had to do it all over again.
Pros and Cons
Geat culture with a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally.
A degree or further education is needed for advancement above production floor.

Worked for parker for around 3 yrs. No promotions unless you are favored by the supervisor. Supervisor gets back at people wether by getting them fired, written up, or reducing pay raises during evaluation. Was fired for being sick and told not to come in. Was fired with a doctor's note. They accepted all the note except for 1 day which wasnt the beginning or end of the doctor's note.
Pros and Cons
Pay is decent
No life. Bad management

Kalamazoo, MI - May 7, 2021
Liked working for them it was the best job I ever had in my life. They put a lot of trust in me and accepted my judgement and let me do things pretty much my way which gave them the end results that they were looking for. As a dedicated employee I always gave them more than I ever gave any other previous employer. Problem was that a 32 year old engineered degreed kid was put into the Team Leader position and decided that he did not want an old dinosaur like me on his team. He used the COVID-19 excuse to lay me off.
Pros and Cons
They give you the freedom to accomplish assignments your own way.
They don't like old dinosaurs working for them.
