As Partner Development Managers, we are responsible for developing relationships that help in the growth of a business. We research, identify, and recruit cloud providers and establish a team relationship where the vendor and the partner can build solutions together. Negotiating contracts and agreements for joint operations is part of our daily responsibilities. We nurture the business relationships after facilitating the initial deals. We develop strategies and identify channels to target during strategic partnership efforts. Working as Partner Development Managers, we align channel roles to the partner lifecycle and recruit new resellers. We train and support new resellers and coordinate activities between the two companies. We also identify and pursue joint sales opportunities.
