What does a Partner Marketing Manager do?

Partner marketing means collaborating with other businesses (partners) on creating marketing strategies that use resources cost-effectively. As partner marketing managers, we plan, develop and implement such co-marketing activities, as well as partner enablement strategies. We serve as a liaison between the partners (for example, retailers) and our organization’s marketing team. We support them in reaching our common goal and share best practices. We track results with performance measurement tools and share these with the partners through post-launch meetings.

Core tasks:

  • assisting in developing partner strategy and plans
  • executing partner strategy by managing partner marketing projects
  • serving as a liaison between partner and internal teams
  • supporting partner relationship development through continuous feedback
  • managing campaign performance tracking
