Partners HealthCare changed to Mass General Brigham in November 2019. Partners HealthCare now known as the Mass General Brigham is an integrated academic healthcare system that solves the acute problems in medicine for communities and world. The non-profit organization, Mass General Brigham connects a system of academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, health insurance plans, physician networks, community health centers, home care, and long-term care services. Mass General Brigham is committed to patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community and upholds a national level biomedical research organization wherein its principal teaching is affiliated to Harvard Medical School. Mass General Brigham was the first in the nation to use an EHR, or electronic health record with the goal of keeping medical history in one electronic health record across the system and throughout lifetime.
