CHI Health is a non-profit, faith-based health organization with headquarters in Omaha, NE. CHI Health comprises 15 hospitals, two stand-alone behavioral health facilities and more than 150 physician practice locations in Nebraska and Southwestern Iowa. CHI is derived from the hospital's parent NPO, Catholic Health Initiatives. The mission of the organization is to nurture the healing ministry of the Church through caring for the body, mind and spirit of every person, regardless of their ability to pay. As a result, CHI Health provided more than $149.3 million in community benefit including services for the poor, free clinics, education and research. While CHI Health has state-of-the-art facilities, it is the people – the physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, therapists, clerks, administrators and families who, working together, make healing happen. If that is the environment in which you want to practice medicine, then it might just be the place for you.

A very hostile work environment. Company sets you up to fail vs. to succeed. First month was great and then it went downhill once I completed four weeks of training which resulted in being four weeks of merchandising and helping another store get caught up rather than be trained for success. Would work 60-70 hours per week due to the amount of call outs not only among team members but also with leadership. There is no work-life balance.

Pros and Cons
Get to see children and make them happy on a daily basis.
Lack of training; hostile work environment

Started at party city at the beginning in 1996 when it was just starting out. I was the only senior engineer at that time and watched the business from one server to our first two Windows servers. I rolled out exchange my first day. We grew to over 100 servers I managed and all POS applications. Built the first Citrix farm. I cleaned up all the desktops and applications. I had two desktop engineers I supervised and mentored, the experience let me go on to bigger things, but I still feel a love for this company. I would love the opportunity to work for Party City again! Again, this has been the best job I’ve had and would give a 100% if given the opportunity. Thank you for your consideration.

Pros and Cons
Team work and challenging work, high energy.
I loved every minute of it especially the challenge and high pasted enviroment

I'm just wondering, does ur company hire felons.😇
avatar-of-creator
Honestly it depends on how old your felony is. For example, my felony (not theft) is 12 years old. And my background check came back clear. So don't hesitate to apply because you have a felony on record.
avatar-of-creator
Just because they do background checks does not mean they do not hire felons. I would call and ask them directly because I got hired to a place that does background checks even with my felony.
