Patient Account Representative

As Patient Account Representatives, we perform patient billing and reporting activities in a timely fashion. We review patient accounts to identify delinquent and due accounts. We follow collection procedures to receive the payments. We also utilize computer software to process, print, and email patient medical bills.

Core tasks:

• maintaining a database of customer accounts and billing information
• contacting insurance companies for claim processing and reimbursements
• addressing billing issues and inquiries from patients
• perform front-desk duties and administrative work when required
• arranging payment schedules, generating billing entries, and creating reports
