About Patient Care Associate

What does a Patient Care Associate do?

In the role of Patient Care Associate, our primary responsibility is to accept applications for the inpatient units. We are accountable for assisting patients with their daily activities. We communicate and meet with new and existing patients of the hospital or clinic to identify their goals and treatment desires. As Patient Care Associates, we are accountable for ensuring that our patients receive the type of treatment plans and care that they deserve. We maintain and develop patient pipelines by regularly following up with prospective patients. We also deliver meals to them and take care of other needs of the patients.

Core tasks:

  • taking emergency calls
  • monitoring the health condition of a patient
  • providing patients with the type of care they deserve
  • completing the medical tasks of patients
  • performing other duties
