About Patient Care Supervisor

What does a Patient Care Supervisor do?

As Patient Care Supervisors, we supervise a team of healthcare providers, nurses, and clinic workers to discharge their duties. We help improve the quality of care delivery given to patients and work hand in hand with nurses to treat patients. We interact with patients and their families to build an effective relationship between the hospital and patients. We also help improve the communication link among healthcare providers in the hospital or clinic to enhance their work with little or no supervision.

Core tasks:

  • providing assistance for the health community in plans and promotions of health programs
  • training of subordinate works in the hospital or clinic
  • providing psychological support to patients and families
  • scheduling of shifts for subordinates
