About Patient Navigator

What does a Patient Navigator do?

As Patient Navigators, we work with individual patients and families to assist them at various healthcare system stages. We ensure that rapid response and aids are given to patients and their family members. We create an enabling environment, ensuring patients' needs are met at various points in the health system: finding doctors, proper assimilation of treatment and other care options, handling medical reports, raising funds, and so much more.

Core tasks:

  • handling appointments for patients, ensuring they get a rapid response to their needs
  • ensuring patients satisfaction by facilitating good communication between health care providers and patients
  • collaborating with different personnel, providing patients needs are met
  • reducing barriers that prevent patients from getting healthcare
  • educating patients about the health care system and enabling proper understanding of treatment.
