About Patient Services Manager

What does a Patient Services Manager do?

As Patient Services Managers, we ensure that cash and credit card payments are received and processed on time while following the clinic’s confidentiality guidelines. We send a copy of the bill to the patient’s insurance provider and coordinate with the clinic’s patient representatives to advocate on their behalf. We are also tasked with investigating or directing patient complaints or inquiries to other staff members in order to accurately address them. We hire and train new staff members after performing in-depth backgrounds checks and prepare them for their future role in the clinic by assigning them to a more experienced intern, or a physician depending on the situation.
