I enjoyed my time at Pearson immensely. I would go back if I could. But they went through economic hardship and had to let go several of rounds of people. In fact the round I was let go in was a pretty abrupt emergency call. There was an all hands that was about 15 minutes with the basic message "HR is coming; hope to see you in the next meeting in a few days". But as for the regular day to day; it was fulfilling and you had the option to be remote. It was great work with great people.

Pros and Cons
Remote working option
The head office is in UK; so working around that can be painful
