PepsiCo Company Reviews and Ratings

Worked there 8yrs. 12hour run times and no discipline for lousy workers. If you’re good you’re on your own and more work is put on you. Nobody in management in any department has the ability to manage. They are simply there filling a position. They do not know how to run it except for one single person that does know how.
Pros and Cons
Pay and benefits
You’ll have no outside life.

When I was employed or placed on active status at Pepsi I encountered unusual activities and tons of disrespectful workers (EEs.) I was a Hard Worker with a Strong Attendance record. I worked long hours 12+ hours and picked up extra shifts. I informed my Hiring Manager that I had a mental disability and he gave me the opportunity to work for the company.
However, after nine months issues became apparent that I needed to transfer or risk losing my job over disrespectful and harassing workers (EEs.) I did what I could to make the job work. Transferring didn't solve the problem and I was treated with unwarranted disdain by the team that I joined who knew nothing about me. Mistreatment became apparent in the workplace. Once this happened I waited for my moment to transfer into another role and I won the bid. This did nothing to ease Management's concern over my ability to complete the job. During the recent summer I was placed on involuntarily, indefinite LOA due to mental health issues
Pros and Cons
Good Money.
Poor Management, Harassment, No regards for Accommodations, Gang Warfare, Assaults, Intimidations

A non-climate-controlled work environment, so you'll sweat like you're in a sauna during the summer. I worked many, many hours in soaking wet clothing. The breakroom is like a refridgerator, which made for extremely uncomfortable breaks in wet clothes.
Management will lie to the employees when it's in their interest. They show no loyalty/fidelity, no matter how hard you've worked or how productive you've been. "Going the extra mile" in doing exceptional work is not recognized or rewarded, despite their annual Employee Appreciation Week. They talk a good talk, but they don't walk the walk. So, unless you're just desperate for a paycheck, go look somewhere else for an appreciative company.
Pros and Cons
Decent benefits, occasional free meals on holidays, annual giveaways.
Horrible working conditions, untrustworthy management

It wasn't good. I never did any safety or training videos and there was no actual training. The people were not friendly, and management did not seem like they were at all interested in answering any questions about schedule or anything else.
Pros and Cons
paycheck came through
I was verbally and physically assaulted, but they did nothing about it.

Pros; bulk picking and lots of overtime opportunities. Swag points if u can hit the quota’s. Cons; lockers don’t lock. Thief attempts in parking lot. Small point system for life events. I worked for PepsiCo from January 2022 and got let go December 2022 for maxing my 8 points. Over that time I had a mother pass away, my son injured during his basketball season, and a infection in my joints that kept me out of work for a month. I came in 2 hour’s early(when allow) to my shift and worked on my days off and was able average around 55-60 hours a week.
Pros and Cons
Swag points, hours
No incentives for working hard, Small point system for life events

This is a very physical job. It is hard on your body. Shoulders, knees, elbows. I enjoyed this job though. You become family of the stores you work in.
Pros and Cons
fast pace. Learning new things everyday
High turn over. Odering for your store and then recieving several boxes of something no one buys.

Even though this was to be a 3 month assignment, I worked as a temp for this company for two years. During the last three or four months of my employment I spoke with my supervisors about becoming a permanent employee as my position was, in my supervisors words, desperately needed. This company and my supervisors gave me rave reviews for my work performance and told me I would be a welcome and needed asset to the company. They then proceeded to rearranged positions and told me my position would now be placed in another state! I was then laid off! Yes, it was originally a temp position. Yes, it is their prerogative. However, the way they led me on to believe I would finally be hired, finally be able to receive the benefits of being an employee only to then send the position out of state and hire another temp was disgraceful and shows they value money and not people. If I didn't see them throw money away on some of the most frivolous things then their decision might make sense.
Pros and Cons
Close to home
They hire temps to avoid paying benefits

Poor inexperienced people shouldn't be transferred from a potato chip factory to a Pepsi plant. They have no clue how to run a Pepsi plant.
Pros and Cons
Good salary and benefits
Very, very poor management closed our facility. B. Sowers has no business being a plant manager .

Worked 14 years. Very hard physical work with no help most of the time. Pay and benefits were good. Some supervisors were very helpful and supportive. Some of the other supervisors seemed to not have the experience needed to understand the difficulties of the job. Some supervisors got terminated for being inept. If you can handle the workload you should be 👍
Pros and Cons
Home by 3 pm. Pay is decent. Benefits are good.
Very hard on your body as you get older
