About Photographer

What does a Photographer do?

As Photographers, we shoot images and videos for customers in a company. Depending upon our specialty, we work at locations including studios, client sites, and events. Being photographers, we set up the studio by relocating lights and props. Some of us are also responsible for photo editing. We play a key role in the creative arm of a company. We are also tasked with purchasing the necessary equipment. Working within a team, we report to creative managers.

Core tasks:

  • meet with clients and analyze their needs and wants
  • purchasing props required for photoshoots
  • preparing the site for photoshoots by setting up required lights and making sure that the space is clean
  • preparing required release forms for events
  • staying up to date with the newest editing technologies
