About

Description

As Physical Therapists, we are responsible for examining and evaluating patient history to determine the need for physical therapy treatment. We instruct the patient's family or nursing staff in specific follow-up procedures. Providing education to the patients and their families is also a part of our duty. We actively participate in patient care conferences. We collaborate and communicate with facility personnel in areas of patient progress. Working as Physical Therapists, we are responsible for using proper body mechanics during patient treatments and support operations. We maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Finally, we attend sessions and workshops to remain updated with physical therapy techniques.

Core tasks:

  • educating patient and their families about healthcare plans and preventive measures
  • assisting in care coordination, additional orders, and the completion of the care plan
  • creating a care strategy that includes both short and long-term aims
  • providing treatments that assist consumers in increasing their mobility and motion
