About Physician Assistant

What does a Physician Assistant do?

As Physician Assistants, we assist the clinic’s Physicians by interviewing, examining, and diagnosing incoming patients' injuries, illnesses, and medical records to prescribe adequate medications as well as lifestyle changes. We interpret the diagnostic tests ordered by Physicians and inform the patient on any illness that they might have while educating/counseling patients’ families on how to deal with that illness. We also provide adequate documentation for the patient's insurance provider.

Core tasks:

  • stitch wounds, and assisting in surgeries when required
  • administer immunization to people of all ages
  • maintain the patients’ medical history and record
