About PIC

What does a PIC do?

As PIC (Person-in-Charge), we are responsible for the proper functioning of food establishment operations. We develop and implement policies to prevent foodborne illness and ensure that employees are well trained and equipped before work. We monitor employee activities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Following up food inspections and taking corrective and preventive actions as necessary is one of our main responsibilities. We perform in-house inspections and ensure food safety protocols are followed. Working as PIC, we monitor employee hygiene and verify receiving process, cooking, and storage of foods. We also verify the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
