Piedmont Virginia Community college is a public community college. The college was founded in 1972. The campus headquarter is located in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. It is a suburban college. The college was first started with only 456 students. Today the college enrolls about 5,684 undergraduates and out of that 79% are part-time students. The first president appointed for the college was Dr. Harold J. McGee in 1971. Piedmont Virginia college offers 60 programs of study for short term training and career enhancement for students.
