About Plant Accountant

What does a Plant Accountant do?

As Plant Accountants, we analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments acquired to predict the future income and expenses. We provide accounting services for a plant while handling the responsibilities of preparing analysis and reports of accounting data. We prepare the balance sheets, statement of accounts, and profit and loss account of the plant. We report to the manager of the accounting department.

Core tasks:

  • closing of accounts for the assigned plant
  • analytical reviewing of plant financial statement and budgeting at the plant level
  • reconciliation of all the plant accounts within the required timeframe
  • recording the plants' activities and maintenance of the records
