What does a Plant Engineer do?
In the role of Plant Engineer, we are responsible for performing varied tasks depending on the level of our position. We maintain and repair the equipment at the plant. We oversee the technical analysis of new projects. We also investigate,determine, and implement methodologies that can improve the performance and efficiency of power plant equipment. Functioning as Plant Engineers, we spent long hours standing and crawling insider boilers. We also develop technical specifications and assist in the development of products. We manage the plant drawing files, including updating files with as-built changes. We also prepare reports and make oral presentations.
