About Plant Health Care Technician

What does a Plant Health Care Technician do?

As Plant Health Care Technicians, we provide accurate diagnostics and recommendations for abiotic and biotic treatments to treat current conditions affecting trees and shrubs' health and structure. We perform integrated fertilization and pest management for trees and shrubs by using granular, spray, and other injected products. We also perform vertical mulching, air spading, root barrier installation, and other prescribed procedures to improve tree and shrub root vigor in order to prepare requested tree and shrub care proposals for both residential and commercial properties.

Core tasks:

  • help tree crews perform tree removals, and tree pruning
  • handle storm restoration work at any given time during nights, weekends, and holidays as required
