About
Description
As plant managers, we oversee the operations, production, and administration of a manufacturing plant. In other words, we are responsible for all the activities required to safely and efficiently produce quality products. We review production orders and plan operations accordingly. We coordinate, schedule, and monitor the work of plant employees, enforcing alignment with organizational policies, as well as all applicable laws and requirements.
Core tasks:
- overseeing plant operations (budget, production schedule, stock)
- participating in production planning
- overseeing personnel administration
- ensuring adherence to workplace policies and rules
- managing compliance related documentation
- monitoring production processes and implementing process improvement measures as necessary
