What does a Platform Architect do?

As Platform Architects, we are responsible for the design, architecture, and roadmap of a platform. Our job is to bring strategic technical vision into reality. We deliver, maintain, and evolve the platform. We set and adhere to technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and test strategies. It is also our duty to maintain data privacy compliance and mission-critical reliability. We work closely with data science, product, development, and operations teams.

Core tasks:

  • drive platform architecture design
  • articulate architecture solution options
  • apply best practices
  • research and onboard appropriate technology tools
  • business proposal support for new business
