IN-PERSON INTERVIEW DATES:
In-person interviews will be conducted on MONDAY, JULY 29th and TUESDAY, JULY 30th.
seeking a Project Manager to lead a minimum one-year project, delivering system functionality and enhancements to modernize the system and sunset related legacy systems. The PM is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders, the current vendor, and other agencies to ensure deliverables and contract obligations are met, and represent and lead the project team.
+ Implementation of new system functionality, available modules, and a mobile application for the IowaWORKS system; Sunsetting related legacy systems; Establishing communication plans, transition plan, business processes, and SOPs for IT and business teams; Modernize the workforce services systems and utilize modern technologies to reach the citizens of Iowa.
+ This PM is expected to lead a team delivering a system that provides services to 15 field offices around the state
+ The team consists of a QA lead, system admin, vendor PM, multiple business SMEs; Technology consists of MS Project, Visio, JIRA, Google suite
+ Managing project team, facilitating business teams, developing a communication plan, managing vendor relationship, closing warranty period with between business and IT team, delivering system functionality, establishing training plans, providing status updates. It is imperative that this PM have BA skills to bridge communication between our business teams and the vendor.
+ Follow practices set by management team: formal status reports, regular meetings with business leaders, one-on-ones with manager
