After working for this bank and not even making it longer than a year, I decided against my better judgement, to keep my account I opened while an employee at PNC. About a year ago I was scammed out of a significant amount of money and even have been an employee, a long time customer, they refused to credit me back the money I was scammed claiming they called the number I gave and they claimed it wasn’t a scam?? 🤔 So you mean the people that scammed me and commented a crime said it wasn’t a scam and that they didn’t commit a crime and YOU BELIEVED THEM!?!? That ended my relationship and any relationship I will ever have with PNC bank as an employee or customer!

Pros and Cons
Not many, actually none that I can think of.
Poor management, lousy pay, and low morale.

I have had the pleasure of working with PNC for so many years full time and part time. I have always been motivated from the start to do better and to learn what I could so that if an opportunity came about I would be prepared for the challenge. PNC has so much to offer to better yourself. Of course some people are content with a day to day routine. I always liked a challenge once I met my goals.

Pros and Cons
Many of opportunities.
If working downtown you either have to pay for parking or commuting by bus.

Worked there 7 yrs. AML department is a nightmare. Managers are making people work 16 hr days. Asking off for doctor apts. or personal reasons is like pulling teeth. Theres no work life balance. How could there be with the extensive hours required to work. Complaints to HR go no where and are definitely NOT the employee's advocate. I finally had to get approval for FMLA due to panic attacks and anxiety daily.

Pros and Cons
Work from home option
No work life balance. Staff working 16 hr days in AML Dept. Sr. Mgrs are tyrants & HR doesnt care.

I m sorry I joint the company. Pay is ok, Technology is out dated also too much lengthy process to do any type of work. Unnecessary paper trial and not a team friendly company every one is shallow as far as where I worked. I wish I would have studied the company deeper so I could have made wise choice.

With their completely subjective review system, they can keep you in a position with no hope of transferring to another area, because the grade individuals on a bell curve. They can keep you in a position by keeping you in a "meets requirements" but never giving you a better rating. This means if you are totally qualified for another position, the new manager will see you only as someone "meeting" the requirement, not exceeding. Its all questionable. They only promote people that totally suckup and are technology idiots but know all the catch phrases to sound good.

Pros and Cons
Pay good, but the healthcare plans terrible. High deductibles meant lots of out of pocket costs.
Depressing, soul crushing, demoralizing environment.
